J.R. Collins is the Founder and CEO of Frohawk Music. He has been playing electric bass since the age of 12 when he started playing music with the neighborhood kids. In high school, he joined the band Unhindered and spent most of his college years playing for youth groups & college ministries across the country. Currently, J.R. is the music director and bass player for Crowder. J.R. also plays upright bass, synth bass, keys and guitar. He can also rap and DJ. In his spare time, he likes to cheer on the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs. J.R. lives in Decatur, GA with his wife, Kristi, and their dogs, Jax and Toby.
